The Tech Wildcatters Mentorship Program is an integral part of our offerings as an active venture capital investor. Through our extensive network, we identify the right mentors and introduce them to become an additional resource to our founders. We continue to facilitate the process to fit the needs of each portfolio compan
The mentorship program is designed to create a safe space where founders can bounce ideas off of mentors without judgment. It is also a safe space where mentors are here to pay it forward and help the next generation of entrepreneurs.
Mentors should not be seeking cash or equity compensation from startups during the initial phases of the relationship. Over time, if a founder feels comfortable working with the mentor on a more engaged ongoing basis, the founder may invite the mentor to join the company in a more formalized role in which compensation can then be offered.
