Gary Cohen is a semi-reformed attorney and serial entrepreneur focusing on innovative web-based businesses.  In 2004, he co-founded Pegasus News, an award-winning online media company, and served as the company’s Vice President and Chief Operating Officer until it was sold in 2007 to Fisher Communications, a publicly-traded media company based in Seattle. Gary currently serves as the Chief Executive Officer of Word-Nerd.com, an SAT vocabulary tutorial website he co-founded in 2009; as a Director for Lateral Link, a web-based legal recruiting company for which he founded the Texas office; and as the President of State Street Ventures, his private investment company.  Previously, Gary worked for six years in Dallas as a corporate and securities attorney, most recently at Carrington, Coleman, Sloman & Blumenthal, LLP, and for two years as an international tax consultant for Ernst & Young. Gary is a 1995 graduate of the Duke University School of Law and received a B.A., cum laude, in Psychology from Duke University in 1992.
