Doug Jarvie brings over 25 years experience and is especially seasoned managing in a high growth environment. He began his career in commercial banking and, later realizing he was more of an entrepreneur, acquired an interest in fledgling Streetball Partners, producer of the Hoop-It-Up basketball tournaments. During his tenure as President and CEO, Streetball Partners grew from 8 events per year to over 600 events annually while revenues grew from $800M to over $140MM . During his tenure he was able to attract strategic investors such as NBC Sports, Hunt Capital and maintained working relationships with all of the major pro leagues (NBA, NHL, MLB, PGA, and MLS). Streetball partners became widely recognized for bringing corporate sponsorship into grass roots sports marketing with partners such as Nike and Gatorade. In 1996, he acquired the college assets of Host Communications which included the marketing rights for major universities such as Texas, Kentucky, Florida State, Tennessee, as well as major conferences including the Big XII and the SEC. The company also made some strategic technological investments and was an early investor in Broadcast.com. Throughout this time Streetball partners grew to become one of the largest sports marketing companies in the world. Jarvie successfully exited after selling the company in 2000.

Jarvie has remained active in several ventures while serving on the boards of Cornell University and the Dallas Arboretum. He earned both a BA and MBA from Cornell University.
