Carl Hefton has 35 years of business experience, most recently as a Founding Partner of Entrust Capital Advisors in 2008. Entrust provides M&A advisory and other investment banking services focusing on companies that have enterprise value of between $2 and $50 million.
Prior to Entrust, Carl was the CEO and President of Viscern, Inc. During Carl’s 20 years with Viscern, the firm provided strategic, on site, fund raising and other consulting services to over 10,000 faith-based and not for profit organizations, throughout the United States, helping them raise over $12 billion. During Carl’s tenure, Viscern’s sales grew from less than $3,000,000 to over $40,000,000 with 220 employees. In 2000, 2001 and 2004, Viscern was recognized as one of the 100 fastest growing companies in the Dallas/Fort Worth Metroplex. Carl led the effort with his two partners and the counsel of Bear Stearns to sell Viscern to a private equity group in 2005. Prior to joining Viscern, Carl was a CPA with Arthur Andersen & Co. from 1975 – 1986.
Throughout his career, Carl has served on a number of Boards and is presently on the Board of a startup consulting firm, a not for profit hospital and a general partner with a hedge fund. Carl is currently evaluating Board roles with several private companies and not for profit organizations.
